Chopard and Alfa Romeo teamed up to launch a car racing watch model this year. The combination of this two brands were not a piece of cake, in fact, they had special significance in this 2010 – Chopard celebrated the 150th anniversary, at the same time Alfa Romeo celebrated its centenary. Chopard had been actively taken part in the World Classic antique car racing, and became the sponsored manufacturer and official timpiece of Mille Miglia Racing Competition “la corsa piu bella del mondo”; and Alfa Romeo was the biggest winner in car racing over the years and had won 11 games.
In addition to previously described Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL Alfa Romeo, there are new Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono Alfa Romeo watch, which has a total of 500 worldwide limited edition of stainless steel and 100 worldwide limited edition black DLC coating. Both are red with black dial and pointer, and printed two brand logo. This watch offers chronograph functions, 30 minutes, 12 hours and one minute counters at 12 o’clock, 6 o’clock and central position; equipped with COSC self-winding movement, vibration frequency of up to 28,800 times per hour, power reserve approximately 46 hours, a big date display at 3 o’clock, case diameter of 44 mm, water resistance to 100 meters, and the anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
