The new Omega Milestone 1941 watch is inspired from the Omega “CK2080” steel watch, which was unveiled in 1938, at that time, this steel watch was highly praised by senior military officers. The new “Milestone 1941″ watch referred to its 1941 version ’s style, this watch was sold at Omegamania auction in 2007.
The new Omega watch boasts the brand ’s groundbreaking Co-Axial technology and is sculptured from exquisite materials.
The case is made of 18K white gold and its diameter is 38mm, it is coupled with a black alligator leather strap fitted with an 18K white gold buckle.
Excellent and traditional watch design, coupled with innovative watch-making technology to create the most eye-catching gem – Omega Museum Collection No.IX. The new “Milestone 1941” watch is a manual-winding chronograph watch and uses Omega Calibre 3203 movement, which is special for Omega, the precision of the movement is crowned by the COSC – chronometer certification. It incorporates the Co-Axial escapement with a free sprung balance, and a column wheel chronograph mechanism.
The varnished black dial of the Omega watch features a telemetric scale on its first outer ring that has kilometers per hour graduations, a minute track on the second outer ring, as well as a “snail” tachymeter scale presented on the inner ring based on 1000 units per hour.
The hour numerals and indexes are provided with Super-LumiNova coating. The hours and minutes are indicated by classic white skeleton hands, also coated with Super-LumiNova. The dial boasts perfect legibility under any light conditions.
The dial is completed with two sub-dials: a 30-minute chronograph counter and small seconds counter at 3 and 9 o’clock respectively.
The timepiece will be available in a limited number of 1941 pieces.
