Fans of IWC Schaffhausen definitely remember that one of the brand’s ambassadors is the famous football player Zinedine Zidane. Let me remind you, that signing of the contract between the football player and IWC in 2008 resulted in the release of the brilliant Ingenieur Autoatic Edition Zinedine Zidane in color range of French tricolor. In this year the company offers to your attention the new version of the Big Ingenieur ZInedine Zidane version. This time the very football star took part in renovation of the model’s design. It stands to mention that the new version is not likely to be liked by everyone, because some critics are convinced that the new version is much worse than the original. Well, tastes differ, but definitely there are few people who like brown color.

In general, the new watch looks quite nice. The watch has a case that measures 45.5 mm in diameter and an automatic movement with the 5113 caliber. The case is made of stainless steel. The watch has a sapphire crystal with anti-reflection coating. Waterproof to 120 meters. The watch as an alligator leather strap and a stainless steel buckle. The dial looks quite interesting, it features some details whose meaning will be understood only by Zinadine ZIdane fans. Some numerals on the dial are red – 10 (ZIdane’s number), 27 and 45. Two latter numerals mean minutes of the final match of the World Cup 1998 in Paris during which the football player kicked his most outstanding goals in his career and thus provided victory of the team of France. The case back is partially transparent, it is also decorated with 10.

The Big Ingenieur Zinedine Zidane watch will be released in limited edition of 500 pieces only. The approximate retail price is about $15,000.
