imitation swiss watches
In order to become successful in the market of luxury watches, one needs something more than simply to produce good watches with complications. In an era of intense competition, timepieces should have a history, special appeal that will single out them among hundreds of luxury watches produced every year. Romain Jerome seems to be perfectly aware of this fact – it produces watches which are, quite simply, like no others.
The famous Romain Jerome DNA collection is created in tribute to the ocean liner which sank in 1912, the Titanic. The company literally brings the legend on the wrist of the consumer – the timepieces are made from the authentic steel recovered from the wreck of the Titanic. This steel is fused together with the one from the Harland and Wolff shipyards where modern liners are made. The fusion of old and new symbolizes that life is stronger than death.
The Romain Jerome DNA Tourbillon makes part of the DNA watch collection. The case of the watch is made from blackened satin-finished steel.
The timepiece has all the features of the Titanic DNA watches. The X-shaped cross on the dial of the Romain Jerome DNA Tourbillon is inspired by the boilers and the hull of the Titanic. It features 116 manually applied rivets.
Another tribute to the Titanic is the minute and second hand of the timepiece, resembling the anchor of the legendary ship. Three 60-seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour counters at 9, 6 and 3 o’clock are inspired by the Titanic steam counters. In addition to the counters, there is also a date display window at 9 o’clock.
The Romain Jerome DNA Tourbillon comes with a black rubber strap featuring a satin-finished clasp. The production of the watch is limited to 2,012 pieces.
